As a former NFL player with 11 years of experience, Coach Barnett has been part of some of the greatest football teams in NFL history. Prior to being drafted in the first round of the NFL draft in 2003 by the Green Bay Packers, he was part of a successful turnaround at Oregon State University. The OSU Beavers accomplished their first winning season in 29 years. More recently, he was part of an internship program with the NFL in 2018 where he worked with Head Coach Mike McCarthy of the Green Bay Packers at that time. He has since dived into youth football, with the last two years coaching Pop Warner with LCCPW. Last year was his first year being the Head Coach for the 14U team and was excited to announce the team won the WCC championship in a very tough conference. He also coached the LB position at La Costa Canyon high school for JV and Varsity and is a positive, high-energy coach who demands kids reach their potential the right way.
Wide Receiver Coach
Former American football wide receiver. He was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football for the Boise State University Broncos. Naanee has also played for the Carolina Panthers and the Miami Dolphins.
Coach Schneider is in his second full season with Del Norte after arriving at the program ahead of the short Spring season. He has 20+ years of coaching experience including a state championship with Rancho Bernardo. He lives in 4S Ranch with his wife and 4 kids. He played defensive back at the University of Wisconsin and earned a law degree from Duke University.
