Employer Matching of Donations to Football

How To Support The Del Norte Football Program

Many employers in San Diego will match gifts to any charitable organization made by their employees. In our program, The Touchdown Club receives payments for playing football at Del Norte High School, and it is a 501c3 charity. As a result, any contribution you make to us may be eligible to receive a employer matching funds.

To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please click on this link and enter your employer's name:

https://ww2.matchinggifts.com/search/unh

If your company has a matching program, please request a matching gift form from your employer, complete, execute and include it with your payments to the The Touchdown Club. We will do the rest.

In this way, contributions to our program may be doubled – and in certain instances, tripled! Some companies even match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses of employees. With athletic budgets tight all around due to the coronavirus and the impact of the government-mandated shutdowns, we want to be diligent in leveraging our donations in this convenient and highly beneficial way.

Nighthawk Football Players & TD Club Thank Administration and Foundation

In February, leaders of the varsity football team, the Touchdown Club and Coach Cole met with Del Norte Principal Bryan Schultz, Athletic Director Mike Giaime, and DNHS Athletic Foundation President Dave Wheeler.
The Nighthawks thanked the Administration and Foundation for their support this academic year which contributed to a successful fall season. As a token of our appreciation, the team leaders presented each with a bound copy of our 2019 Football Yearbook, a game by game summery of the season that also included a team photo.
